In November 2009, Time Warner Cable launched Connect a Million Minds (CAMM), a philanthropic commitment of $100 million cash and in-kind donations. This five-year program was designed to inspire students to pursue learning opportunities and careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
FreeAssociation currently serves as digital agency for the entire CAMM program, handling strategy, design, and technology services for the initiative, which relies heavily on web, social media, and live events. Within 10 months of the campaign launch, we ‘connected’ almost a quarter-million minds – putting Time Warner Cable well on the way to achieving its 5-year, “million mind” goal.
Within 10 months of the campaign launch, we 'connected' almost a quarter-million minds.
We continue to lend our digital expertise to CAMM as they roll out sub-initiatives and campaign stunts in an effort to inspire our nation’s next generation of science and technology leaders. Notably, in the fall of 2010 we collaborated with CAMM, filmmakers X-Up and the start-up Vokel to produce the Global Online Town Hall hosted by Al Gore.
