In the summer of 2010, Myspace relaunched as a Social Entertainment platform. No longer primarily an online friends network, Myspace has evolved into an important digital touchpoint for artists and musicians of all levels. Refocusing efforts toward their main draw, Myspace revamped the site and created new tools that allow users to customize their Myspace experience.
Since then, FreeAssociation has worked with Myspace to invent and deliver innovative ad products that leverage the platform’s distinct set of features. From experimental creative development, to the design and production of brand campaigns, FA has created and delivered a variety of products for the music, gaming, and film industries.

FA has partnered with Myspace on many of its rich media advertising campaigns – often working top-down on ideation, content production and digital engineering. Our relationship with the Myspace technology team allows us unprecedented access to the Myspace ‘canvas,’ where highly engaging creative – think ‘mimicry,’ custom takeovers, and campaign-specific pulldowns – is born. Additionally, Myspace’s working relationship with the music and entertainment industries has given FA opportunities to work with Usher, The Black Eyed Peas, and the Jackass crew, among others.
