
FA recently launched The Burlington “Brag About It” Challenge, a UGC contest site and Facebook extension for Burlington Coat Factory.
Our work on Burlington Coat Factory’s bargain-bragging microsite is a big hit thanks to three elements: It gels with the brand’s thrift-conscious identity, it has a low barrier to entry, and it is truly user-driven. Customers can quickly upload pictures and descriptions of their purchases, vote on the best ones, and spread their fabulous finds via Facebook, Twitter, or email. In the 24 hours immediately following a television spot for burlingtonbrag.com on American Idol, almost 17,000 unique braggarts bombarded the site. In the last two months more than 100,000 votes have been tallied on 2,300 brags, proving that a good deal is worth boasting about.
